8th Grade Experience Day

8th Grade Experience Day is a day designed especially for 8th grade students to help them prepare for high school and experience the KWoods Difference! All participants will have KWoods Leadership students as their guides. To RSVP, call 517-545-0828, email firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form below.
The schedule (students will participate in all sessions):
Session 1: Welcome and Design Thinking Experience
Students will participate in a hands-on activity focused on developing the thinking and 21st century skills needed in high school and beyond, led by a KWoods teacher.
Session 2: Shadow a high school class
Session 3: “Finding Success in High School” presentation
Students will participate in a presentation and Q&A session with high school students about what it takes to be successful in high school.
Session 4: Shadow a high school class
