Meet Our January Students of the Month

Some students make the room better the moment they arrive. They lift up their classmates, push themselves to grow, and bring that extra spark to everything they do. This past January, Kensington Woods (KWoods) recognized two standouts—one middle schooler, one high schooler—who embody what it means to be part of the KWoods community:

Tiffani Maulbetsch – High School Student of the Month

Tiffani leads with heart. She’s the kind of student who goes beyond just showing up to actually step up. Whether she’s filling in on percussion for the middle school band, making her voice heard in choir, or pushing her creative boundaries in the art room, she’s all in. Dedicated. Studious. Generous. Tiffani’s teachers and classmates see her as a steady, positive force, always encouraging those around her.

And if dedication had a scent, it might just be fresh-baked cookies. Tiffani’s love for baking is one more way she shares her warmth with the people around her. We’re lucky to have her, and we can’t wait to see what she does next!

Isaac Ferguson – Middle School Student of the Month

Isaac balances academics, athletics, and the arts and excels in all of them. He’s a 4.0 student, a dedicated musician rocking the French horn, and a fierce competitor in basketball, cross country, and track. Yup, all of that. But what really makes him stand out is his mindset. Isaac supports and encourages his classmates. He’s always ready to help and to learn.

Isaac represents what we love about KWoods: a place where students don’t have to choose between passions. They can be artists and athletes, musicians and scholars, dreamers and doers. Keep it up, Isaac!
