Kensington Woods is small, personal, college-prep 6-12th grade public charter school located in Pinckney, servicing Livingston County and beyond. We create an engaging, challenging and relevant learning environment for students through a focus on subject-area integration, 21st century skills and high expectations as well as building strong relationships between students and teachers. Students leave our school prepared for success in college, career and life.

Students graduate ready for college with skills in areas needed for success in the 21st century, like, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, communication and technology. Students are academically prepared for college and become well-rounded engaged citizens with strong character. They understand the importance of learning as a lifelong process and are ready to excel in college and life.

We serve students from Livingston County and its surrounding areas, including Howell, Brighton, Pinckney, Hamburg, Hartland, Fowlerville, South Lyon, Milford, Whitmore Lake and beyond.


Students are encouraged to grow in a small, personal learning and engage with the curriculum, fellow students and teachers, developing strong relationships and confidence in their abilities.
